Born of a supernatural bloodline, a warlock seeks to master the perilous magic that suffuses his soul. Unlike wizards, who approach arcane magic through the medium of spells, a warlock invokes powerful magic through nothing more than an effort of will. By harnessing his innate magical gift through fearsome determination and willpower, a warlock can perform feats of supernatural stealth, beguile the weak-minded, or scour his foes with blasts of eldritch power.

Alignment: Any evil or chaotic.

Hit Die: d6.

Class Skills: Skills Points at 1st Level (2 + Int modifier) ×4.
The warlock’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Bluff (cha), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Dsguise (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (Int), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), Spellcraft (Int), and Use Magic Device (Cha).

Class Features:
All of the following are class features of the warlock.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Warlocks are proficient with all simple weapons. Warlocks are proficient with light armor, but not with shields. Warlocks can use light armor with no spell failure chance.

Invocations:
You can use any invocation you know at will. They are just as spell-like abilities, except that they ar esubject to arcane spell failure. The DC is 10 + equivalent spell level + Cha modifier.

Eldritch Blast:
As a standard action, you can launch a ray with a 60 ft range as a ranged touch attack, dealing damage as listed in the chart. It is as a spell-like ability of a spell level always equal to a 1st level spell. If you add an eldritch essence or blast shape, it is equal to the highest level essence or blast shape used to modify it.

Detect Magic:
As the spell, at will.

Damage Reduction:
As listed.

Decieve Item:
You may take 10 on Use Magic Device checks.

Fiendish Resilience:
Once per day, as a free action, you gain Fast Healing for 2 minutes, as listed on the chart.

Energy Resistance:
Choose two energy types: acid, cold, electricity, fire, and sonic. You gain energy resistance as listed to those two.

Imbue Item:
You may attempt to create a magic item without knowing the spell or spells required (though you still need the right item creation feat, as well as the gp, xp, and time). Roll a Use Magic Device (DC 15 + spell level for arcane spells or 25 + spell level for divine spells). If you succeed, you can make the item; if you fail, you cannot. You may retry this check for that item every time you gain a level.
